Karolina Garbacik - choreographer, dance teacher, cultural animator, dancer. Founder and owner of DanceOFFnia Studio of Creative Actions and board member of Podlaskie Dance Association. As a choreographer, she has produced dozens of dance performances (including  "Door closed", "Beauty of Life", "Opera in vivo") and short forms (studies, miniatures). Her choreographies were shown at dance festivals in Poland and abroad: Belarus,  Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Taiwan. She cooperates  with many theaters in Poland: Bialystok Puppet Theatre ( "Carnival of the Animals", "Mikrokosmos.Kompozycje"), Mask Theatre in Rzeszów ( "Toy Store"), Banialuka Theatre in Bielsko-Biala ( "Ring and Rose"). Performances of her choreographies, for example "Mikrokosmos.Kompozycje" (prepared jointly with the Bialystok Puppet Theatre), win awards at the international contests, for example International Festival of Arts and Culture in Shanghai. She is the founder and organizer of artistic projects of Podlaskie Dance Association (Festival Kaleidoscope, Free Mind). As a dancer she has performed in productions of Dance Theatre Project, and repeatedly took part in dance projects. She was a participant in the project "School of Performing Arts" at the Silesian Dance Theatre in Bytom. She received a certificate of Open Mind – an award given to artists by the editors of a newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza. She was prized with the Artistic Award of the Mayor of Bialystok in the field of creation and dissemination of culture and the Golden Keys of Bialystok city in 2008 - an award given by the editors of the newspaper Morning Courier. Moreover, she received the scholarship of the President of Bialystok in 2009 and 2014. She is a lecturer at the Academy of Music of Grazyna and Kiesjut  Bacewicz in Lodz and Instructor Qualification Course for trainers of modern dance in Bialystok and the College of the Vocal and Acting of Czeslaw Niemen in Bialystok. A graduate of the Postgraduate Studies of Dance Theory at the University of Music of Fryderyk Chopin.
